Giving feedback

If you don't like something change it is my approach, I'd love to hear everyone's views regarding how to improve my apps. Life's motto is if it isn't good enough for yourself it isn't good enough for anyone else, so don't settle for less.

Content Content...

InshaAllah, as we make progress the hurdles we face will be nothing small stepping stones to a greater cause. To create a better flow of the lessons maybe a numbering scheme might help, in addition to the ever so increase content, data management might need to reflect that, right now the goal is to gather content. Once we feel the content is adequate the whole app might get a redesign.

50 Active Users - A Milestone

As a small time developer, this is a huge milestone. Thank you everyone who has tested the app or even visited here to show support. Yesterday was a productive day, the content for the lessons feature was increased... Hopefully we'll see some suggestions, I was given some feedback yesterday...

Progress!

With the release of a major feature, the lessons tab, the usefulness of this App as a real life tool increases astronomically.... but from a developer's perspective, it's one nightmare, to develop the right type of database to manage the feature... along with the infrastructure to handle it as it grows... But still excited, hopefully, there will be meaningful feedback.

Possible ideas for features...

  • Introductory Lessons for Urdu
Also noticed a slight bug on the Word of the Day feature that needs to be fixed. Please continue to update to the latest revision.

On a quest for Ilm

Developer's Diary
Ilm - Knowledge
Ever so excited for the release of my app but one learns the hard way, that without any advertising there is no possibility of the app succeeding. To be able to build a user base without a proper publisher is a developer's biggest fright, at least for myself.
Ilm is a simple English to Urdu Dictionary. A problem I've faced often in my life being raised in a Urdu speaking family and without proper education in Urdu. I find myself relying on English to convey my thoughts. Language is a skill, we often find ourselves losing skills as time goes on. To help polish this skill I thought about making an app to make my life easier and hopefully it helps a larger community which faces troubles like my own.
